GT350R at Supercar Sunday 8/30/2015

Got the urge to go to Supercar Sunday yesterday. Called a couple local guys last minute and they decided to join as well. Great way to start an early Sunday morning.

But yesterday had an added bonus. As we pulled in to the event, we saw what seemed to be the new S550 but looked a little different. As we got closer we noticed it was the new Shelby. Ford called the organizer last minute and said they had a car close by and wanted to bring it to the show.

^Avalanche Gray looks very classy. Sort of Stealth mode yet Spartan.

Its saying don't notice me because I'm about to do something very very very BAD.

Avalanche looks really, really good with those stripes. This really helps me make up my mind that those same stripes would look good on my Ingot.

For some reason, that rear R wing looks more pronounced in these pictures vs. previous pictures. Looks much bigger and taller to me.

You are right the rear wing looks Hugh in those pictures. One thing the op said was " when we got closer we realized it was a GT 350". I think the non stripe cars are going to just blend in with all the other mustang GT's on the road. So what I'm I saying ? The stripes are a Shelby thing and a must on this car..... just my 2cents.

Only if you want to be recognized. Some people want to fly under the radar and not draw attention.. I ordered mine in black with no stripes because I don't care if anyone recognizes it. (Would prefer them not to) I respect the stripes, love the look, but as an natural introvert I just want to enjoy my car.

I was surprised thar silver wasn't available on the 350. I think it would look really good with flat black stripes.
