GT350: What's Your Cruising Tank Range?

I haven't had the opportunity to go on long road trip with my GT350 yet, and I don't log many straight highway cruising miles. Yesterday, I did round trip that took me on I-75 in FL, clear sailing 30mi each way. I reset my "Trip 2" both times and got an indicated (doubtful) 24.5 mpg and 25.5 mpg for each leg @ 75-ish mph. Not scientific of course, nor do I have any clue on how accurate. (My "Trip 1" life average of ownership is 14.9 mpg)

That got me thinking:

What's been your best range on tank of gas?

Got 28mpg once hypermiling from Charlotte to Atlanta. The way I drive, which is a lot of mildly aggressive highway driving, I average 18mpg overall. On the highway only, about 22 mpg.

What's been your max range on a tank?

My max range on a tank between Houston and Dallas was 263 miles.

My high is 321 miles. That worked out to be 21.7 MPG. Normally I average somewhere in the 290 range.

Assume you are asking what the digital read out for miles to empty is as I'd never let the car run out of gas. On long road trips highest is 310-320. Generally fill up at 1/4 tank or more, can start to panic when alarm for the 50 miles to empty goes off as some places in the midwest can be up to 100 miles between 91 octane pumps (happened in South Dakota).

My best mileage was 22 mpg , once I got 260 miles on a tank, then after I installed the Corsa res delete, my mileage went down to usually in the 230's a tank

When new, my Shelby did a little over 700 miles on less than 3 gallons of fuel... it has since gone down considerably... REALLY gone down...!!!

How about worst range?
Starting with a full tank of $6/gal 93-octane gas from Laguna Seca, my GT350 ran 87 miles before it stuttered from fuel starvation in Turn 1. I was able to slow and cruise back to the pits with no problem. The refill took 15.4 gal.

I learned that you shouldn't start an HPDE session with the fuel gauge showing a touch over 1/4 tank.

I've only had it for a couple of weeks, but I've put almost 2000 miles on it since then!

Right now best tank was 313 miles.

That's good advice.

I had just passed the starter stand where I'd received the checkered flag. My faux pas forced me to cool my jets on the cool-down lap, but taught me a valuable lesson without costing too much.
