will be interesting to see the lap time comparison later this year,
on a straight line gt4 will lose by maybe less than 0.5s to the gt350.
but what about on the track, the GT4, believe or not, is probably the best handling car in Porsche's line up at the moment.

how will gt350 fear again gt4 on the track? what's your prediction?

would gt350> gt4 and gt350r > gt3?

Should be interesting to watch the reviews start coming in. I enjoyed this look at (mostly) the suspension on the GT4. You certainly see what you're paying for:

Since all we can really do at this point is take Ford's word that the GT350R is dead level with the 991 GT3. MT just did their Ignition episode on the GT4:

He wasn't able to get the GT4 down to the same figure 8 time as the GT3, although I think on something like the F8 test, the rear engined nature of the GT3 makes it easier to rotate than the Cayman by a significant margin.

We do, however, get a hot lap from Randy Pobst with the attached result. The GT4 is keeping very good company. Based on the time versus the Z06/Z07 it's going to be close for the GT350R, and probably down to the driver vs. a standard GT350.

By the way, that zo6 is the c6 zo6 with the zo7 package! The new one c7 zo6 is even faster than the gtr nismo.

Crap, I didn't even catch on to that time being for the C6 vs. C7. In that case, the 350R should be well ahead of the GT4, and the standard 350 right in there. Based purely on bench racing and ultra-accurate internet conjecture. :)

As a point of reference, that is the same track where a at compared the 1LE to the GT/PP and the M4 to the RCF. The times for those cars are:

1LE: 1:22.70
M4: 1:23.73
RCF: 1:24.05
GT/PP: 1.24.29

Different days of course, but a great time for the GT4. Based on the 1LE time, I think the GT350 will be right up there.

Apparently thats the only time 1le surpassed the gtpp, and other track reviews such as car and driver and real life results show that the gtpp is faster around a race track.

Some people say, that specific 1le they used for motortrend is a ringer and not a stock car. It kinda makes sense, due to the car being even faster around that track than an m4, which really doesn't make sense at all.

According to this the Shelby is better in every aspect!
I was wondering how these two compare with reliability though.

Actually that is the C7 time, they could not get it any faster than the nismo GTR.

And this is the longest track at streets of willow. The C7 ZO6 is a beast! Its amazing that you could own it for around $75,000.
