Wish the 911 was a manual. Also, seems like the new 2019 suspension understeers quite a bit, Randy has been complaining about it since the 2019 refresh. Softer rear springs and a stiffer rear bar IIRC...

I wonder if the pre-refresh GT350 would be quicker on the cup 2 tires.

still impressive as hell when comparing bang for the buck... I'll never get tired of the car being compared to cars that are priced insanely higher... :)

also the swing prob makes significantly more downforce than than the R grill up front so maybe a proper splitter and/or hood venting would get it more balanced for minimal dollars....

If you start adding any tops of options to a 911 they are like $130K+ cars now. Insane. Very hard to justify with cars like the GT350, 500, C8, ZL1/LE, etc out there.

They are definitely in that range where the consumer really doesn't have a budget. Incredible machines, though.

Wow. The Carrera beat it by 1 second with non-R compound tires. Very surprised they compared these 2. Not really a legit comparison IMHO.

Either way, Ford put way too much understeer in the GT350.

I think the 911 had ceramic brakes given the yellow calipers. That’s a huge advantage over the 350 for turning and braking. Ford really needs to offer up ceramic brakes as an option or kit.

I don't think ceramic brakes have a significant performance advantage in stopping distance or power over iron. They just resist heat better and last longer.

It's a shame they introduced as much understeer as they have. I wonder if the 350 model with the newer steering update is experiencing less feedback as well. It's been mentioned that the 500 doesn't have the most communicative feedback. I wonder if that's a product of the added weight or the new updates.

Some one mentioned the EPAS is a different size. No idea if that is true but it seems like the steering feel might of gotten worse. Seems too early to tell.

I agree. I felt that the original had more understeer than necessary.

I think the steering update only went to the R, not to the GT350.
