Any one have any tips on getting these ARP studs in? I had to remove the wheel bearing to get the old ones out.

Looks like I might have to replace my compressor and get a bunch of washers.

The ARP studs dont seem to be fully square when inserted.
It's not a good idea to pull the studs in by the threads. I would recommend pressing them in on a press.

Watson 4pt painted DIB blue, Ford Racing RSD, Schroth 4 pt ASM harness and Cooltech lap belt loops installed. Had to remove the rear seat mount plastics for the Cooltech loops to fit. One torque screw on the inside requires you to nearly remove the seat to remove due to no clearance (ctr. console). FR also had two passenger side rear seat belt delete covers in the box. Awaiting the driver side piece

Nice, the instructors today mentioned you shouldn't use harnesses with out a Hans device

I agree. Already have one that I used with the Schroth Quick fit Pro that I used last season as well.

Can you install harnesses and use a Hans Device without a cage? I dont really want a cage in my car.
This is a complicated subject.

3 point harnesses are designed so the occupant can fold towards the center of the car in a rollover with a roof collapse.

If you have a roll bar or cage, and you use the Schroth, you can't move anywhere. Which, is better for driving, will keep you in the seat, and will be fine for any kind of crash other than a roof crush roll over.

Simpson makes a 3 point compatible HANS:

So pick your poison.

Another thought is, if you take one frontal impact, the airbag will most likely keep the helmet from breaking your neck, but if you get more than one impact, the air bag deflates with time, you might have more need for the HANS.
