I'm not up on the package codes. Is that an "R" or "non R".
If that's a "non R" it would indicate the "R" is UNDER 3400lbs,,,,if true of course.

If, and that's a big IF this info is accurate from the other site, the weight for these cars will be a wet dream

No kidding! That would make the regular GT350 over 300 lbs lighter than the 2015 Z28 Track Car...and the R model would be over 400 lbs lighter!! :eyebulge:

You don’t want to know
I ran the VIN and it appears to be real - and the prices are correct. The shipping weight includes all fluids except a full gas tank, I think, so ready to go with a full tank and no driver could be 3,600.

Who cares about the also-ran z/28 built on an obsolete chassis? The rear tale of the tape will be what the next, Alpha-based, track-specific Camaro tips the scales at in a year or two.

Unless Holden/GM do some serious investment in lighter metals in the chassis department, it's still gonna be heavy.

You can't dismiss the Z/28 so quickly, IMO. Yes, it's heavy, but it is also very well tuned and balanced, it has a great engine, and great tires. It may be heavy, but it is still a very good car.

If that shipping weight turns out to be real, Ford will have really surprised a lot of people.

There is no way the car is that light, especially the track package which will be heavier than the base model. And not with $43.68 worth of fuel either.

Shipping weight is all fluids minus fuel.

3,512 +15gal( there is usually just enough to get it off the truck)= 3,600lbs.
