I dont believe that kit will have 12x1.25 tap.

It's a really peculiar size. It took me a while to find the right one. None of the kits I looked at had the right size.

I got mine from McMaster-Carr..it was expensive but did a great job..not to mention work paid for it lol

Ace hardware had it about half mile from where I live. I was surprised, normally I have to drive to 10 different stores and still end up ordering a "special" tool from online. Got lucky this time.

Anyone else having trouble with this CJ GT350 knob?

Threads fit great out of the box, clears reverse lockout diameter after taking out inner ring, but threading it all the way down only allows the lockout to move up a very small amount - not even on the edge of getting to reverse.

So I can back the knob up a ways to get into reverse, but then less than half the threads are engaged and the whole knob isn't very secure (not like the OEM one).

All other parts are factory.

If you follow the step-by-step instructions that are shown in our installation video that I have linked in a previous post, you should not have any issues whatsoever. We have not had any complaints or heard of any issues from our customers about this part.

I will let you know when I receive a response. You have any issues with the reverse lockout hanging up? Mine drops slow, might just need to wear is what I am thinking
