GT350 shakedown (aka Bolt)

Was so busy working on customer cars last year and racing I did not get to work on my own Shelby. His name is Bolt. Got some inspiration here in Wisconsin with the nice weather we are having.

Prepped the car last night and this morning started polishing. Working with a Rupes LHR 3 5inch and a 3inch. Using sonax perfect finish. Making 4-5 passes. Front of the car is PPF so I am using white rupes fine pads. The rest of the car I will be using Yellow pads.

The vinyl stripes turned out way better than I would have though. Took out all of the water spots and small scratches. Really happy with the results so far.

After polish I will be applying AMMO reflex pro. Might do two layers to make sure I dont miss a spot. This will be followed up by AMMO reboot top coat. Wheel have been coated with Crystal Serum Ultra and then EXO top coat. The wheels in the pictures are my winter wheels. Nothing applied to these.

About 25 hours in now over 5 days. He is in the garage drying now. Sunday it will be sunny and I can get some driveway shots.
