Has anyone with Shelby Recaros sat in a Fiesta ST with the Recaro package? If so, can you tell me how them compare? I’m 6’4” and (hopefully soon) 200lbs and am snug in the Shelby seats. I wonder if the FiSTs would be too tight.

Buddy and I just picked up his Fiesta ST. I seriously doubt you'll fit. The OEM Recaros for the GT350 aren't snug for me at all, but the FiST ones are quite snug and I'm only 5 6"

You're going to want to drive one to try it in my opinion. I owned a Fiesta and while I liked it, the ergonomics seem to be set up for smaller people. Not just the seat, the location of the controls, everything. The Mustang is definitely set up for larger people in comparison. I'm 6'4" 240.

Wife has a Fiesta ST. I like the seats in that just fine but I've never had a problem with any recaros.

6'1" 220.

I do prefer the GT350 seats, so does she.

Also, the Fiesta recaros will break in and open up if you are bigger. The passenger seat isn't as opened up as the driver seat in her car and it's noticeable.

I own both. The GT350 seats are roomy for me (5'9" 175); the Fiesta ST seats are great but cozy, especially right across the hips and waist. A wallet in my back pocket is uncomfortable in either but actually painful in the Fiesta. It depends on where your weight is, though. If you're broad-shouldered you might be fine; if you have some spread in the midsection you may not fit.

I actually prefer the Fiesta seats for support.

I like both the FiST and FoST seats but the GT350 seats are the most comfortable and supportive seats I've ever been in, in MY opinion and subjectivity. Better than Porsche, better than BMW.

I'm 5'8", 172lbs, athletic taper drop. I wear a size 30 pants conservatively.

Just go drive one. I'm sure you can find out at a dealership around you. Nothing better than first hand experience. I've also found that some seats are great to SIT in, but drive in? Unusually, a different story.

I have both and as far as support GT350 ones win hands down. They also seem roomier to me (but less flexible). The Recaro's in the ST seem narrower but also more contouring to your body, with a little less support but more comfortable for me (5'10", 168).
