I joined there last year and don't remember having to be "approved". There doesn't seem to be a lot of life on that forum, you're not missing too much.
Somewhat related to the thread topic, looks like there's an Owner's Kit for sale on that forum for 2016/G4847 - it could be yours for the low low price of $375 (shipped) or is it $300 shipped, poster has two different asking prices???
Edit: this gentleman has also posted this kit for sale here on Mustang6g. It does appear to be missing the Tom Fitz print, so technically not a complete kit, but if you really want a flat plane crank trophy here's your chance.
This is my item for sale. $300 shipped is the price. I contacted the dealer who most recently sold the car and never heard back. It was a dealer in AZ I believe. It is not missing the piece mentioned above….will update pics tomorrow…TomI joined there last year and don't remember having to be "approved". Thanks for the update. I don't have a way to associate the VIN on the oil filter wrench with the chassis #. That's the original question i may not have been clear on unless someone knows of that connection? I do like the additional columns . I think (correct me if I'm wrong) the oil filter kit is only MY 2016 and some early 2017s? My Shelby is a 9/15/2016 build and has the newer cartridge style filter.@Baugustine does that work? I don't want to confuse the spreadsheet with VIN's because the primary purpose is the welcome kit and that doesn't need VIN, but I guess you could type the VIn instead of an X to say you have the filter?
The VIN is laser etched on the oil filter wrench so you know what car it was for, but there is no chassis # anywhere on the kit that I can see so no way to cross-reference to Column A of the spreadsheet,I think any year car can have the cartridge due to getting replacement engines, but the spin on filter changed to the cartridge/cannister sometime in 17 or 18? I didn't know what you were asking about the VIN so I assumed the VIN was on the filter wrench kit.
Oh the way I had it would work fine then, you would just leave the chassis number blank for those entries. The VIN is laser etched on the oil filter wrench so you know what car it was for, but there is no chassis # anywhere on the kit that I can see so no way to cross-reference to Column A of the spreadsheet,
