GT350 owners - should I consider buying this one?

That Iconic silver Mach 1 is worth the wait. It's a good deal at what you paid. I had to wait 6 mo. for my ordered GT. and was told I would be looking 10-12 wks delivery from the day of purchase.
Them extra weeks of waiting had me online joining this group, looking at other options to buy. I did even buy a used 19 GT 6sp. 401. The next day I was going to pick up the car but got a phone call from my dealer saying my GT had arrived, Canceled on the used 19. I was relived to get the car I spec'd. Nothin better than new car smell and a bunch on zero's.

OK now THIS has my attention. I remember reading something about R engines in the earlier years being different than non-R engines, can anyone confirm and/or enlighten me? KBB trade is only $50-$55K, I'm a little surprised it's not higher.

yes there were some differences in R vs non in the early goings.
I'll go check that one out for you. I'll film myself making vroom vroom noises while dry-shifting the trans. K?

Certainly a great deal of CF parts on the outside of this R including front chin spoiler, side skirts and rear diffuser.

Also, many aftermarket CF parts in the engine compartment, new hood struts and along with replaced Nitto tires.

Looks like a pretty good deal if someone's in the market.... looks like a 2016 track package car, $50K and 22K miles. There's a 2019 tech package car with 400 miles that a local guy will sell me for $63K which is tempting but I'm close enough to the Mach 1 delivery that I'm probably just going to wait it out.
