Driver comments at at 11:03 time.
My thoughts, that driver has driven that track a lot so his comments were nice. That track is scary as there is a TON of traffic at all speeds, you have slow folks just cruising the track and then track monsters like Porsche's rocketing through the course The drivers heal/toe was precise and even better his left-foot braking is top-notch and an acquired skill that takes seat time. I liked his comments about the car, well-balanced, stellar braking, engine is "super emotional" as he stated. All he really recommended is better tires. He said he will drive the GT500 next and compare the two......He did say the Steeda Mach1 had a ton of suspension mods that made it better but lacked engine with the standard 5.0. Go to 11:00 time to listen to his comments.....

So... help me understand they are on a track going really, really fast, but no safety gear?? Just seat belts, no helmet, no restriction on slow pokes on track with monster speed cars?? this is the great and awesome Nürburgring and just can just cruise any way you want?? Man I'm getting gyped here in the US!!! Those Euro guyz, flat out on the track no safety stuff, later have za coffee and za zigarette I suppose.

make sure to watch his GT350R video as well. Car had Michelin Sport 4S tires and a backseat, other wise stock. His comments during the cooldown lap was informative. He’s driven so so many cars on the Nurburgring that he’s now appreciating the “emotional factor” of the cars moving forward, which he says the GT350/GT350R definitely has.

It's a road that makes a loop, not really a track. People live right off of it. It's open to most any road going vehicle(there are restrictions), you just pay for a lap.

Well, kinda. The 'ring is a private road in Germany with no speed limits (like other roads in Germany) which happens to close back into itself to create a circuit around a hill. For safety, it's kitted out as a proper race track. There are pro racing events there and car companies (including Ford Performance) rent it so they can do vehicle testing. The 'ring has a wide variety of corners, straights, elevation changes and so on that are challenging for drivers and the cars they're driving. When it's not hosting a racing event or an OEM, it's available to the public to bring any vehicle they want (tour buses come for laps with customers aboard) and drive the track. You get a mix of high performance vehicles and just plain ordinary cars and trucks.

I lived about an hour from the track in the mid-60s. My Dad drove my Mom's VW bug around the Ring with me , my Mom and sister in the car. lol. My Dad and I attended the 1,ooo kilometer race there in 1966. Fords and Ferraris.

Misha's job is the ring taxi driver. He drives people around in the "ring taxi"; you pay to be driven a lap
What a Job! He looked like it was his morning commute for most of the ride except when the Turbo S dropped him like an Anchor. VERY cool video.
