I realize it is tough but some folks just need to realize they can't "afford" what they want. Or at least they can't right now.

Folks would be much better off that way. Instead of trying to find a way to "game" the system for a rather expensive car. The banks aren't going to lose in the end and in 10 years what's the reward? A 30k dollar car you paid 75-90k for?

I get the R's might hold their value a bit but if you look at the recent offerings 302LS's they certainly haven't done much better. This of course is going off of memory of Bring a Trailer bids. I realize the 350 is a different beast than any of the Boss offerings but none the less.
With respect to 2012 Laguna Seca's, I have owned a number of them and after numerous individuals approaching me to sell my cars I can tell you that I have done very well based on my cars being low mileage cars along with the appropriate provenance.

So who owns a business and is leasing or owning with full expense writeoff?. I am meeting with my tax advisor literally monday to discuss this. I am a partner in an audio development company and we are developing audio products for the Mustang, I intend to use this vehicle for that product development. I am not sure if greater than 50% of the miles will be used for work purposes as I want this car for personal use, but also will ligit use it for the product development. Can a business lease/buy a vehicle and write off all expenses of the vehicle for use other than actually driving on road miles ( ie. audio development in the lab and some on road testing)
what do all the sema builders do for example.

Thank you PP0001 that is exactly right. Y'all flame on and tell me how I got took. Thats fine this old fart is getting ready to fire this beast up and go for a cruise. I know there were better financial options but this works for me in my life style, my budget and one last time to enjoy a great performance car. And yes its called renting. you never will own it, just enjoy it and give it back when time comes. I'm happy and that's all that counts. I told the dealership right up front before deal its what I wanted to do if could get payment to where I could make it and still live my life financially in the comfort I require. And 5 years at my age is long enough.

The Ford site does show something about leasing a GT350 or R but you have to contact the dealer.

Hey Sport, maybe you missed some of his key points being that he is 73 years old and that this vehicle is his last hurrah and this is all he could afford based on what he understood as his best option.

As far as having some nice property for sale in Florida, maybe tell us more about it!

:)
Have a family friend who bought some swamp land in central FL in the 50's and 60's. Everyone said he was nuts, now its called Disneyland and Orlando. He aint working no more lol.

Hey Sport, unless he got the freakin tooth fairy to throw down the 10 grand up front, over 2-3 years that low payment is about $1200 / month, amortized, the guy could be driving a ferrari .
Hope the guy has no kids....if they ever read this, odds don’t look good for making it to 74.

Since you seem to have lot of concern how some people spend their money on their GT350/R's and have lots of answers for the rest of us what direction did you take to finance your GT350 so that the rest of us can learn from you?

I have zero concern....a simple statement of fact.
As to your question, sorry, I do not give out personal information to those proven to be bad at math. :lipssealed:
