I have an 18 Mustang GT currently with stock intake manifold, but do have headers, JLT CAI, and tune. I am most likely going to get the GT 350 intake and 87mm TB as my next mods. My question is, will it work with my current JLT CAI, or would it be better to go ahead and get the GT 350 CAI too? I know I will need a new tune once all is installed, but just want to have everything I need before I start the project. Thanks for your input and advice.

You should be able to just get a different silicone adapter for the TB since the new one is slightly bigger. But the rest of the intake is essentially the same.

Why? The 2018 intake is very close in performance. Maybe a bit less up top if you go out to 8,000+ rpm but more torque down low where the 350 manifold loses some. It just seems like a lot of effort for little or no gain.

I’m going to install the IM and TB hopefully next month. The kit is currently on its way to Brett Barber for porting. I will post results. My reason is because I will install cams later this year and will go pro charger in the future.

Heck yeah! Let it breathe with those LTH. When you install the cams, that’ll be everything you can do (unless you port the heads and add larger valves), to breathe in/out with maximum efficiency.
