On the video it appears that the hood didn't shake. Hood on my GT350 was shaking when I was going close to that speed.

Hell, my hood was shaking driving north through the wind on Highway 93 from Golden to Boulder yesterday.

Noticed my hood started shaking around 140. Makes me want to install hood pins like on the GT500

One of the windier places on the front range. Any good CO 350 groups? Just brought mine home from CA. (I'm up in Erie).

There are a number of fellow CO Front Range GT350 owners on here. I've just been keeping my head low until COVID passes before seeking out any groups. Am planning on hitting up High Plains Raceway this summer if things calm down this summer.

I hear that. We're doing the same. Look forward to summer and some normalcy.

I'm from NJ. We have a large group of GT350 owners here.

In the first pull it seemed unhappy about bumps, as though the rear setup was so hard it was losing traction on moderate imperfections in the road? From 1:05 onward. Maybe it was as he crossed the white lines.

And at the end the jump from 5th to 6th was so large it couldn't keep the 172 and dropped back to 169 until he lifted his foot?
@ 3:20 8000 rpm doing 276kph (171.5) then changes to 6th drops to a hair under 5000 rpm, drops back to 273 (169.6) during the gear change and never recovers ending at 267kph (165.6) when he lifts his foot.

That's correct; the GT350 is drag-limited in 6th so max speed is top of 5th. It's wheel torque vs. drag at those speeds, and 6th is too much torque reduction. Given the GT350 has a gas guzzler tax already, I'm not sure why they didn't shorten up 6th a bit, but it's very strictly a cruising gear.

I think I prefer that setup to the Bullitt where the you hit the speed limiter in 4th and 5th and 6th are for.....emmm ......... I'll get back to you.

I believe the reason was due to their testing they just found how long 6th was made 3, 4, 5 perfect for 99 percent of the tracks.
