I recently received a built and sleeved longblock and opted for the GT350 cylinder heads as the Gen 2 were causing delays on an already LONG lead time for delivery.
The builder knows how to configure the heads properly and it's a high HP Hellion TT build.
Anyone have experience with these heads on a standard bore coyote? I'm reading about valve shrouding issues and unsure if this will be a factor or not even to worry?
Otherwise I have my factory Gen 2 heads that I can swap on before I commit to installing this engine.

What caused the valve to hang?

Update:
Went ahead with the GT350 heads with their "specially modified" rocker arms that are designed to work with stock cams and at 600 miles the #1 cylinder hung an exhaust valve and nearly destroyed a $15,000 engine.
Cylinder head is definitely damaged. Be warned.
M** modified Coyote rockers to work with Coyote cams on a GT350 head?

Lots go into making gt350 heads work properly. I skipped that path and simply did ported gen2 heads with Ferrea valves, Pac 1234x/Ti retainers, done.
True talk .. ended up with 2 trashed pairs in the process of figuring out what works 🥺.

Yup, doing that now. Probably go CNC'd runners and Ferrea or Manley valves with Bronze guides and PAC stage 2 springs to work with the VCT.
Hope to have the engine dropped out this week.

I guess more importantly, is the builder making it right?

Anyone who does this for a living will F up once in awhile. it's what happens next that counts.
