This from Mustang Manny (Gaudin Ford) on Facebook. As one of the bigger Mustang dealers around, his info is usually good!

Doesn't state if those are annual figures though. Over 5 years, I'd hope they are!

Production numbers for the 2016 GT350 have been released.
5,000 GT350
500 GT350 R
Ford plans on making it a 5 year run.

I sure hope this is true, the ones that have been available around me selling 20k over msrp. I want an R and with this new I think they will be back to MSRP right in a few months?

I don't see the ADM thing going away for MY '16. 5000 cars will be few enough to keep them exclusive and in high demand in dealer inventories. It appears that the 5K cars will be sold quickly or kept in showrooms with high ADM's

Whatever the source it is still speculation at this point about how many and how long they will run.

If Ford does a 5 year run, I see price coming down to MSRP.
If it ends up only being 2 or 3 years, I suspect demand will remain high.

MSRP of GT 350 is supposed to be about $53,000 and the GT350R is supposed to be about 20k over that. BUT the R comes with the ceramic rotors and some other goodies.
Ceramic rotors? I think you are wrong on this. Only main difference is CF wheels, big spoiler and red badging...:headbonk:

You replied to a post from April written before order guides and pricing were released.

FWIW, my local dealer who had 1 R allocation said the gt350/r are not being produced after '16 MY. Based on their slow production schedule thus far, this wouldn't really surprise me however I really don't have a clue . :headbonk:

Could be true. My dealer said they originally thought they were getting a 2017, but Ford said that changed and now the dealer won't be getting one. My dealer thought the numbers of 2017s were going to be lower and not zero, but it's possible what your dealer said is true.

Agreed and most everything that is being mentioned by us enthusiasts as well does not have much merit!

Until Ford officially has completed assembly of the last production model for any given model year us enthusiasts and dealers alike really have no idea.

:thumbsup::thumbsup:

This sounds like a way to create a scarcity mentality so that one might be tempted to buy a 2016 that is priced over MSRP. :)

I thought the same thing when my dealer said they weren't getting a 2017. Only time will tell, I guess. AFAIK they haven't said anything else to me that was demonstrably false.
