Omg...did this really turn into ANOTHER thread about ADM? Apparently I can't escape these talks no matter the thread...
Well considering demand for the specialty mustangs is pretty well established production numbers are the primary driver behind adm, so it makes sense the two topics would collide.

My opinion is every dealer that sells a car should get another allocation

That is the paramount issue with respect to these cars. The administrators here have tried to quell the issue with their bias, but it'll never go away until the practice does.

5500 is not low production on a $55K sports car. The echo chamber of these forums causes you to over estimate the hype.

I would like to think that you are right, but Chevy built 37,288 C7s in 2014.

So, I'm still depressed.

Catch 22 for me...I want something you don't see often, but not so rare that they will command a million dollars off the lot lol
Strangely enough, in my area of driving over 7 years and 40000 miles, have seen fewer 500's than fingers on both hands on the roads I drive. Suburban/urban driving. Would have thought many more. Of course see many more at shows and events .

I agree...there are how many of us on here and there are a hand full of other Shelby GT350 forums, and I read those threads as well, and we are by far and a cry more people/threads then them. Really there is just a hand full of us on here that are immediate buyers, and if you take out the guys who already have a 2015 GT, (that more than likely will want or need to sell their cars first, and take a "HIT" on their current car) you have even less. I think the buzz will be there for a few months and then life will go back to normal on these cars. It happen to the Z-28, and the C7 (Z-06) quickly I might add...(Im not saying thousand below MSRP)

I dont think there is anything to worry about....those numbers r great, we are talking 5500 cars per year for 5 years.....being an owner of a golf r, which also vw only made 5000 a year and only for two years, it really wasnt that hard finding one.....i got it couple grand under msrp too......

Looking back at the OP it doesn't confirm a 5 yr run...for exclusivity purposes, I would prefer it to be more limited than that lol I would rather have it like the 2 yr boss run.

5000 GT350 / 3000+/- Ford dealerships = less than 2 per dealer per year on average

500 GT350R / 3000+/- Ford dealerships = 1 in 6 dealerships will get 1
We really can't be sure if they had that many dealerships sign up. I wouldn't be surprised if the actually number was just a little over 2000. Also I think its a possible they could end up producing more than 5500 a year.

Whatever the actual numbers end up being, it seems like they should be much greater than the 50th anniversary edition numbers. So we should not have to worry about 50th anniversary edition-scale markups, right??

You are correct

Okay and that is about how much? 5K 10K 15K...??? assuming 53K for a base GT350
MSRP of GT 350 is supposed to be about $53,000 and the GT350R is supposed to be about 20k over that. BUT the R comes with the ceramic rotors and some other goodies.
