Pretty sure I'm going to do the same.
Stick me in that group as well, I drove into work this morning and I kept telling myself "something is missing". The car just feels like a cheaper vehicle without the sound.

Regardless of how you feel about it on principle, it's hard to argue that the sound doesn't feel completely natural. It's so well done, that basically nobody identified it before it was 100% confirmed that it existed through other means. That's saying something.

Agreed. I picked up my '17 Saturday, and if I hadn't read that the sound was piped through the stereo I would not have known ... truth be told I don't hear it.

You won't be able to tell the sound is there . . . until it is not.
IT is that good.

Understood, so I'll just keep the pipes in Sport mode and leave the windows down, FTW

NOTE OF INTEREST - I discovered that if you disable the Engine Sound Enhancement you also loose 90% of the Navigation voice guidance volume. There is something there, but it is not discernible no matter how loud the volume is set. Some of you may not care, but those that do, be aware.

It was noticeable when I turned it back. The radio volume was louder when I turned it back on. Good find Sir.

It's one thing if a cars exhaust sounds like ass and then is artificially enhanced to fool the driver. For the Voodoo this is clearly not the case. The exhaust sounds incredible and the augmentation just helps you enjoy it in the isolation of the cabin.

I keep getting ELM connection error, I tried changing the ports, auto connection, Bluetooth connections etc... anyone else have some hints on getting Forscan to connect? I looked on there forums but haven't found anything that works yet.

So, Mustang GT S550 (not a GT350).

I'm trying to enable a potential rear diff temp sensor display. The '16 PP cars have the temp sensor.

I have the ODBLink MS bluetooth, and have it connecting to my desktop (on the garage floor) with FORScan successfully.

I can read and write the as-built module files (Trial license).

My question:

The normal module screen has an entry for "Rear Diff Temp" but it actually says Enabled by default? (yet obviously no diff temp display)

The As-built module has 720-06-01 set to 7C6D 0664 9819 by default.
If I set it to 7C6D 8664 9899 it causes a Trans Temp display to enable on the dash, but it reads 59' F, which I figure is the minimum or something. No Diff temp with any value from 0664 to 9664.

Any clues where to look for a diff temp next?

It's possible that diff display isn't included in firmware for the IPC on the GTs. The code is similar, but being different between GT and GT350s wouldn't shock me.

There's nothing else to compare the Asbuilt values to (i.e. no GT comes with a diff display enabled) so there's really no other place to look.

Just wondering if any one else found DTCs when they connected through Forscan?
I had DTCs in three of the modules...
Where is the best place to find info on DTCs on the web? When I search the web, seems like all that's online start with a P, forscan gave me one C, two Bs and two Us. (Apologies if this has already been posted)

I don't know.

Something about Forscan just doesn't sound kosher.
