Can somebody post a track pack or R APIM? I'm curious if the track pack can have the R mini splash screen. Does it have that?

I went through that. The R never came with the 4" screen.

I successfully turned on the Trans temp guage, the R welcome screen and turned off the double horn honk. I used the track settings in the spreadsheet for the horn.

hey guys we have a beta version of forscan with mustang changes if anyone else wants to test. I haven't added GT350 specific stuff yet, but regular S550 changes are now in the module config.

this will make it easier to make changes since you don't need to manually enter them and worry about it.

Have you all figured out how to bypass the internal EQ for Sync 3 and provide a clean signal for an aftermarket stereo? I didn't see it in your spreadsheet.

no, and I don't think anyone has tried.

If you want to start looking, try the ACM. 727-01-01 and/or 727-01-02 perhaps. the f150 guys have some audio settings in there that may help get ya started, though not sure it's exactly what you're looking for.

    Help with module modifications

I am having a hard time trying to find the module configuration screen in forscan. I have the OBDMX plugged it, windows laptop connected to it with bluetooth, registered on forscan forum, have extended license. Connected to car fine. What am i missing? It's acting like I don't have the license to make mods to anything. Attached are a couple pics, seems like I should have a "module configuration" tab to the right of the "log" tab. The bottom where it says "not connected" is only because I came back into the house to take the pics, it was connected to the car fine. Thanks! Awesome job on this BTW! I am sure it will work soon.

What's it saying? Are you hitting the button on the bottom to open the change screen?

Keith, Not sure what button on the bottom you are referring to. I am probably missing something really simple here, I apologize. I edited my last post and added a couple pics.

I had the same problem. After first saving my factory config. I restarted Forscan. I didn't revert to a previously saved configuration and when asked I did not save. After doing this it allowed me to make modifications and then I saved the modified config.

Try pushing the little play button in the bottom left corner of the screen.

My buttons were grey'd out/inactive until I did what I described in post above. Since then everything has been working as expected.

    THANK YOU

You guys ROCK! Worked for me, thanks TDC and keith58. I needed to do exactly what both of you mentioned. Now have red splash screen, both axle/trans temp displays, and eliminated the damn double horn honk on exit.
    Thx, Ryan

    Instruction Summary

[Disclaimer: I have nothing to do with any of these discoveries and take credit for none of them. I am simply summarizing what a bunch of geniuses/heros came up with in the prior 23 pages of this thread and other threads. I am trying to make this specific for the GT350 here.]
    1. Need laptop with windows operating system (make sure date and time are accurate on computer, if outside of extended license range it will not load the extended license, see below about getting extended license)
    2. Buy https://amzn.com/B006NZTZLQ OBDLinkMXBluetooth (best connection, wifi prone to disconnections)
If your windows computer does not have bluetooth, also buy https://amzn.com/B009ZIILLI
    3. Download forscan http://forscan.org/download.html (to windows computer you will make mods with)
Choose "FORScan version 2.3.9 (or whatever the latest version is at the time) beta for Windows - free." Do not use Wine version. Will need extended license version to make modifications
    4. Sign up for forum http://forscan.org/forum/ucp.php?mode=register
    5. Wait for registration email from FORScan
    6. Obtain extended license http://forscan.org/forum/extlic.php
    7. Open FORScan and Click bottom Left "About" button to load license, when successful should read, "Extended License. Registered to..."
    8. Plug OBDMX into port
    9. Key On, Engine Off. Car should have a full battery and DO NOT let battery get below 11.4V, risk damage. I spent over an hour connected with no battery drain problems. If you have a goal of what you will modify before you connect to car it shouldn't take more than 15min from here on
    10. Start forscan on windows computer with bluetooth
    11. Click "connect to vehicle" at bottom
    12. Click left "Configuration and Programming button"
    13. Click on APIM, IPC, BdyCM, ACM (all AS BUILT) or RCM (not AS BUILT) depending what you want to modify:
Module Address Value 1 Value 2 Value 3 Effect Model Year Package
    APIM 7D0-02-01 5553 0602 C04A Mustang GT Nav Anim. All Tech/Conv/Elec

APIM 7D0-02-01 x5xx xxxx xxxx Stock operation for no NAV in motion
APIM 7D0-02-01 x7xx xxxx xxxx NAV in motion enabled/Sirius Traffic becomes disabled (didn’t work for me,
still cannot enter addresses into NAV while in motion)

    ACM 727-01-01 1850 FA00 44D6 Engine Sound Enhancement Enable 2017 Conv
RCM Enable/Disable Seatbelt minders (can also do it manually without needing FORScan, see below)

    14. Hit play button on bottom to show codes in the category from step 13.
    15. Make modifications to codes as desired (Write down your original codes in case you want to ever revert changes)
    16. Click write. Follow instructions given to cycle "key on engine off" / "key off engine off" if needed.
    17. Hit stop button on bottom.
You can also turn off/on the seatbelt minders per the owner's manual page 31 as follows: Key on engine off, then wait until seatbelt light turns off on dash. Once light goes out, wait 5 seconds, then slowly plug/unplug seatbelt three times. After the third time the light will come back on, then plug/unplug one more time. Seatbelt light will now flash to confirm. Repeat on other seat. Repeat to turn back on if desired.

Awesome! Getting rid of the double honk alone was worth the price. I disabled the sound enhancement too and feel the car has much less drone.

You are right about great and painful. I'm reading it all and trying to follow it along but have exactly NO clue...:headbonk: All I want to do is default my exhaust to sport mode. Just hate that I have to do that every time I start the car.

I'll make it easy for you. There is currently no publicly known way to accomplish that. And PLEASE, someone correct if I'm wrong.
