I feel your pain dude. My Harley has seen no more than 1000 miles the last two years because of my cars.

It's a great problem to have isn't it ?? lolol

Question, how insane would I be if I bought the H2 as my first bike?

That Norton build is pretty sweet !!

I've been tossing around the idea of getting one or getting a triumph to do a café racer build. Completely different world then Harley Davidson.

The black one is a 2016 Commando SF
The non painted one (the loud one also in the video with megaphones) is a 2017 Dominator Naked. Only 10 made world wide and out of production now.

Well if you never rode before, pretty dumb actually. Bikes are not cars and it takes a whole different set of skills. Most of it involves not getting scared when you go hot into a corner and counter steering to get the bike over and through the turn. Many new riders pucker up, lift of the gas, fixate on a guardrail, stand the bike up and then smash into it. New riders are also prone to be afraid to brake really hard and they run into the back of various things. New bikes with ABS and wheelie control can help, but only so much. The H2 is a beast, I’d be wary of it for a while myself. My current bike is a 1299S and that’s quite enough for me. But it’s America and you can buy what you want. In Europe with a graduated license for bikes, it would take a few years with lesser bikes to get up to thst level. Post pics if you get it

Cool.

I’d never get a limited production motorcycle because I would not want to take it apart.

I enjoy working on bikes more than I enjoy riding them.

The thing with Norton’s are, you can not find “any” aftermarket parts.
If you want to do any kind of customizing or add aftermarket parts, you’re better off going with triumph or other brands.
Both of my Norton’s are all stock as they came from the Norton factory.
All Norton bikes are made in house at their own factory and made from 90% British parts. The only items not British made are...
Ohlin dampers.
Brembo brakes.
Dunlop tire’s
And a few of the engines sensors like the cam and crank sensors which are from Porsche.

The bikes are also expensive when compared to other brands.
My Dominator was $37,500.00
My commando was $25,000.00

But again you’re getting hand made aluminum fuel tanks, billet aluminum levers, yolks, foot controls, etc.
two guys build the bikes from start to finish, dyno test them, and limited production and chances are you won’t see another out riding.

My next one will be the new Norton Atlas Nomad that just came out and will be more of a 5000+ per year bike production. It’s a water cooled 650.
They also have just released a race bike 1200 V4RR a 200 hp T.T. all carbon fiber or aluminum bike. Badass.

Between my jeep(soft top) and car, the bike really starts to take a back seat on those nice days. It gets hard to decide what to take.

My FZ09(worth about as much as yall’s wheels lol) is for sale so i can fund a real motor for the jeep. I feel bad because it just sits there, but i know I’ll feel weird as soon as it’s gone and get into another one. Preliminary signs point to a SD 1290...but who knows

I feel the same way. I barely rode 10 times last year for maybe 800 miles. Work. Family. I can find a lot of excuses. I did take the Panigale our three times as well as the Kawi H2. Both are amazing.
