So the Ford Performance 2015-2017 GT power packs use the GT350 throttle body and CAI...has anyone tried installing these on a 2018 GT? Or maybe just the air intake? I wonder if the Bullitt air intake is the same as the GT350's? JLT's website talks about how since they had already made GT350 intakes for the lower hood, it was easy for them to come up with a CAI for the 2018 GT's.

Hold tight, official Ford Power Packs coming out with the GT350 intake and tune corresponding to it.

The Bullitt cai is a direct fit and seals against the hood. No point in using the gt350 cai.

GT350 CAI will install fine. It seals to the hood fine. It uses a different MAF sensor so you MUST have a tune. IMO... get a high flow filter and a tune and be within 3-5 hp of people who spent $400 for a CAI.

Not if you want the proper seal against the hood on a 2018

Do you have photos of it not sealing? I ask because the hood line of the 2018 is effectively within a margin of error of what the GT350's has always been, no?

They differ by a pretty big amount. Gt350 Intake would leave an open section vs the Bullitt intake which seal completely. Also my previous car was the Shelby and I wouldn’t agree that both hoods being within a margin of error.

Unless there is a difference in the diameter of the MAF housing, don’t see why anyone would go with a gt350 cai on a 2018.

Wondering if running the Bullitt CAI can be run on the 18 GT w/out a tune? I wouldn't think so but if it can I'd be willing to give it a shot.

If the MAF housing diameter is the same, I think you can but not 100%

Depends on if the Bullit has a different MAF temp compensation table from the GT too. I know the FRPP power pack 3 for the 15-17 uses a different MAF temp table than the standard GT.

What if the factory GT sensor is used?
