You should add to "What's considered Normal" the ticking noise you hear from the front rotors particularly in a slow turn. You see a thread every so often on that same topic.

Sorry, I don't have a picture - at the time, I noticed a red tinge on the seal and that the paint finish was dulled a bit at the contact points. My car had <3000 miles on it. I saw another members hood, with a lot more miles on it that was showing much more wear.

Opening the doors - windows closed

Sounds pretty basic but...

Unlatch the door while keeping the door closed using your thumb on the fixed part of the door handle. Once unlatch, open the door slightly until the window drops down, then open all the way. Using this process, the window can not get hung up on the door seal.

Sorry, I don't have a picture - at the time, I noticed a red tinge on the seal and that the paint finish was dulled a bit at the contact points. My car had <3000 miles on it. I saw another members hood, with a lot more miles on it that was showing much more wear.
After I added the 'protection' on the hood (in the form of dark gray vinyl to blend in with my magnetic), now 2000 miles later the vinyl is showing wear marks. So it definitely is working.

During a check under the hood I noticed a similar wear pattern (not so aggressive but still there) where the foam strip from the battery cover rubs against the hood. I added vinyl there too.

Hey Folks,
I’m looking to link anyone’s thread on swapping out the transmission (non internal cooler pump to the internal cooler pump transmission) AND any threads on your build to add a pump and cooler to a non-cooled transmission.

If you have a thread where this info is embedded, the specific post were this info starts would be helpful.
