So I have the opportunity to purchase a GT350 with 3319 miles on it. I am changing jobs and losing my company car. If I buy the GT350 it would end up being my DD. Other option is to keep my 2015 Mustang GT 50th LE and purchase a low dollar DD. I do about 35k miles a year.

Who is daily driving their GT350? Looking for opinions

It depends on you commute. Highway and light traffic its great. Heavy traffic not so much.

That being said I think the GT350 is to expensive for that mileage. 110k in 3 years when most of the cars will be less then 40k will kill your resale

thats what I'm afraid of as well. Might have to DD it for 6 months to a year before I'd be able to purchase another DD. Gotta wait on those performance bonus' to roll in

It would take GREAT restraint to keep it in the speed limit every day. Budget for tickets. I couldn't do it. lol.
I hear that. I drove it today and the sound is intoxicating. I have a hard time driving my 2015 without getting on it.

I commute to work every (nice) day with mine and I love it! I do have to restrain myself and I fail at that sometimes, but so far so good. I do have some stop and go nearly every day, but to me the GT350 is more than fine for that. Heck, some people on here complain that the clutch is too light! You definitely won't have an issue with pushing the clutch pedal in a few times during stop and go. I think the GT350 is fun to play with in traffic. A heck of a lot more fun than something with an automatic transmission.

I am daily driving my GT350R and love it. 8 miles each way. Only wish it were a longer drive so I had more time with the engine warmed up :-). I added back the rear seats as well so I can transport the kiddos as needed. I personally think it is a smoother ride than my 911 Turbo S. Only thing I could see as issues are: 1) Front chin is low so you need to watch where you go and 2) the Cup 2 tires won't last anywhere near as long as other tires.

I do similar miles and there's no way I'd use my GT350 for DD. I bought a Fiesta ST for that purpose.

My company car was purchased Dec 14th, 2014 and currently has 80,125 miles on it. my 2015 Mustang GT LE was purchased Jan 2nd, 2015 and has 19,687 miles it. So it's not as if I don't drive the LE. I know I'll be motivated to get a DD if the GT350 is my only car.

Decisions...decisions

I DD mine. What do you have to loose, unless you plan on flipping the car. Didn't Carrol Shelby say "these cars are meant to be driven"!?!? IMO the 50th annie LE is probably the better choice for a garage queen as those are more limited than the GT350. Either way, sounds like a great problem to have. Cheers!
