Wow, just read this....

"For our neighbors up north, the base GT350 Mustang in Canada looks to have a starting price of $62,599 CAD."

That is a 30% price difference between the base price in the U.S.

Based on that calculation, a fully loaded GT350 with the Equipment package and for argument sake Tripple Yellow... You're looking at a sticker price of $83193

with taxes, that sucker becomes $94008

That's a bit too insane to pay for a car... especially an American Muscle Car.

That's nearly 45K more than what I paid for my 2015 Mustang GT Convertible.

Yes, the USD/CAD rate is killing us right now... I probably would've considered a GT more seriously if we had the US prices, but with a 12,000$ difference between a base V6 and a base GT, it was a no brainer to me...
Meh, whatever lol

I miss home terribly, but then I see things like this and the U.S. doesn't seem so bad

I have been on a waiting list for six months, only to be let down with this pricing. Was thinking of trading my '15 in on a '16 GT350, but not at this pricing.

Looks like I'm now in the market for a Whipple... :headbang:

Yes, I had considered waiting on the Shelby, but anticipated a pricing point that I just didn't want to pay. Glad I didn't wait, at 90k+ after taxes for the options I would have wanted, I would have preferred to have kept my GTR. Or, a C7..... just a crazy price point IMO.

Sounds just like me. Wanted a GT500 last summer but couldn't find the right one, so thought I'd wait for the GT350 instead. Got impatient this spring and thought what the hell, buy a '15 and trade in on a GT350 once they become available. At a starting price of $1000 less than a C7 Corvette, I think they missed the boat.

Glad I didn't wait, I'm loving my GT...
