GT350 2018 looking for leather seat ideas. Kazkin?

VERY nice. I'm on the same quest. I've found that neither Alea nor Roadwire have kits for the Shelby GT350 Recaros, but Katzkin and Leather.com both do. I'm having the greatest problem with finding a shop (anywhere near central IL) to order and install them. Where are yours from, and who did you have install them? Any thoughts on the quality, etc.?

You can customize the katskinz anyway you like based on the pattern. And any good stitch shop can do the emblems.

I got the Tuscany leather with grey backed barracuda inserts. And had the emblems stitched prior to install.

The pic makes them look off whitish due to lighting but it’s grey

Wow, you're a better man than I for taking this on yourself. My understanding is that the tools are pretty basic, as is the overall job. But there are plenty of tricks (when and where to apply heat, for example) that I would never know, and would only discover the need for later, after problems start to emerge. I gladly paid a grumbly fellow in his jumbled-up barn $ to install my Katzkin seats. He had been doing it for decades. I'm pleased with the result. His labor charge (including the doors, which were the most expensive part) was less than $800. Michael

You can really tell the difference between a good professional install and someone like me attempting it.
I get some are really talented with just about anything they attempt but I wouldn’t trust this to a first timer no matter who it was.

That looks nice. No wrinkles. I’ve seen the DIY results and to be honest they don’t look good with all the wrinkles and stretched seems most people end up with.

I bought this seat to install in my M5, but never used it. Classic recaro's like this Ideal C, make my jaw drop! I just had it re leathered with proper German ( forget the proper description sorry) leather in the center of the seat with tiny pin holes, and solid leather around the perimeter.
