on Friday I went to test drive a gt350 and to my surprise (not listed) it had a whipple on it.

Not only did it have a whipple it had been pulleyed down from the stock kit to a 3.5”

Now, I haven’t really been looking at supercharged cars so I’m not really sure if a 3.5” pulley is safe on a gt350 without heavy bottom end mods or running exclusively on e85. Any help would be appreciated.

I kinda feel in love with the car and while it’s not really intended to be a daily, it will get 10k miles a year and I’d like it to survive more than 1 year.

Dealer has no idea of what other supporting mods have been done.

    Thanks in advance guys.

Jump into the 350 section of the forums. Your question would be answered quicker there. A few members there have whipple's on their cars. I myself do not know about the pulley size, but I would look to see if a boost pump has been added to the car. Without knowing the mods it's hard to say. Also the remember the GT350 is built...it can take some power. So whoever had the car may have some more things on it to support it. Get some pics and come back.

I would be suspicious. 3.5 is pretty aggressive and it tells of aggressive usage. A car like that on a dealer lot is probably there because the original owner got spooked by something and ditched it.
