I grabbed a few pictures of the suspension components from the Guard GT Convertible that was on the rotisserie stand on Mustang Alley.
We had a very interesting tour with a gentleman at Watson Engineering/Racing at their shop on Friday.
Here are a few highlights.
- The front suspension will need some help for road racing, providing Watson with opportunity for sale of aftermarket components.
- The IRS will be very capable for most drag racing applications.
- Watson has done some dyno testing with the Ecoboost I4 and were amazed at the power it produced with a bit of tuning. No comment on how much power.
- No we could not see what was behind the curtained-off area.
- SVT GT350R and GT350S - No comment.
- FPC - No comment.
