What would be any recommendations for 18" (I think I read the 2010 GT500 replica wheels fit) or 19" rims for winter? I'm taking delivery of a 2017 GT PP in about a month and just thinking ahead for next winter. I would prefer 18" as the winter tires for them are much cheaper. I'm located in MI.

If you have the GTPP then there are a few 18" setups that will work.

Forgestar CF5 is the best bang for the buck option that can work.

Forgestars are a great choice.

Give us a shout if you're interested! We have the quickest turnaround time with in house CNC mills and stock up on Forgestar wheels!

Do you have any other recommendations in 18" that fit the PP brakes? I would like to go with a square setup and smaller tires for the winter probably 235 or 245.

19". You won't find very many 18" wheels which fit over the brakes that you'd want to subject winter to (very expensive). The only thing pretty reasonably priced but are more of a track wheel are the Apex racing 18" wheels. Even then, you don't really want a wide tire for snows (245 or 255).

For 18's:

...this was a big reason I decided non-PP car.

CF5 is the way to go in my books.

Yeah if I was looking for 19" I would probably get something like this or used PP wheels. The only reason I said I preferred 18" was to save $100 a tire on winter tires but if I'd have to spend $100 more on rims it's pointless and I might as well go 19".

It all just depends on the tire brand you wanna go with. I always recommend DWS06 or solely dedicated Blizzaks

I went with Blizzak WS80 and they kicked ass in the snow. I never had a traction issue these past two winters. They are a little mushy on dry roads.

You could also put winters on the stock wheels and get some new, lighter/wider ones for summer.
