The build site isn't real specific, that's why I wanted to start this thread. Someone mentioned sturdier connecting rods too. Not sure where information comes from but my guess is there are several little parts that are different and Ford decided not to mention them. I like knowing everything that's different/better. :)
Did you look at the Wiki?

I am curious as to why this is a thread. All this stuff has been released by Ford. Either in document or through interviews.
It doesn't happen often, but I'm with you here. It's the '14 Track Pack but better. Lets not start a thread on something already very specific. It appears the front stabilizer bar is different. How about when we all get our cars we crawl under them and measure how big ours are ;)

The size/material/etc. doesn't mean a thing if it is a balanced package. Biggeris only better if you are in the porn industry.

Great, now we've turned this into a "bar" measuring contest. :p

cotusb site says that standard features with the 401a package comes with a 3.31 limited-slip rear axle. My window sticker on the other hand says 3.15 ratio limited slip axle. what am I getting? I have an auto.

Edit: I'm assuming because I have an auto....

It is an auto so it comes with 3.15's unless you ordered the optional 3.55's. Confused as to why this would be posted here when the PP is only available on the manual trans GT's  Manual GT's come with 3.31's, optional 3.55's or 3.73's with the PP. All of this info has been published multiple times on this site. The order guide has been very accurate and we have had that available long before the orders opened. But I have attached it anyway.

Before anyone jumps down my throat, I'm pushing 76, fairly new to the site, & the closest I've been to owning a muscle car was back in "58 When I ordered a new Olds with Tri Power. That being said, I ordered the 50th Anniversary Edition with auto & think (hope) I'll have the 3.55 rear end &, for the first time in Mustang history,:help::) will get the PP with the auto. If I've missed something here, consider my background, or lack thereof. & my name.

Yes, you are correct. To be clear you have ordered the 50th Limited Edition (Referred to LE on this site), a very special car. There is a 50th Anniversary package available on standard Mustangs. From your info it appears you have ordered a Kona Blue LE Auto. It does come with all the Performance Pack (PP) equipment and is the only Auto equipped Mustang to ever offer it.

Congratulations on ordering a very special Mustang!

Nobody has mentioned the soft compound summer tires available only with the PP.

I'll assume the brand details are out there, I just haven't seen them.

The PP tires have been discussed, hard to find due to so many new threads everyday.

Thanks for the info.

I thought it was strange that there weren't any tire details in this thread called 'GT Performance Package List of Parts', and tires may be the most significant part of any performance upgrade.

Do all the 2015s get the bracing from the strut towers to the firewall? Or is that PP only.
