Ya think I have a 2018 A10....

And you mean the cars going 10s that are on bolton, tuned, wheel and tire and have suspension mods? LOL cmon man back to reality. The C8 will go 1g on all seasons. Why because its lighter and mid engine. Tuned C8 on tire will be jjst as fast of faster easily then itll absolutely stomp a GT Mustang on a road course.
Ive hit 1.09g with just spacers on the front and aftermarket rear wheels and 315 tires
Are you delusional?! Weight matters ALL the time! Know what matters even more than weight? Balance!

Everysingle time you turn or stop or accelerate the Mid engine car will go it better given same apes to apples weight and Horsepower.

Man some of you need just as much of a reality check as the Ford dealers charging absurd ADM........ ROFL!!

3k of mods(pulley, tune etc) on the gt500 and you probably can hit 800 rwhp easy. thats not going to be easy for the c8
And its going to weigh a shitload more and cost more too. Let me know when you get your 2018 Mustang to 3500 pounds...........

Good for you comparing a Base C8 to king of the totem pole GT500 and then you try compare a MODDED GT500 at that.......Get a grip man you are out in left field. The C8 is going to absolutely going to wreck alot of feeling for alot less money too.

You realize the Base C8 is claimed to be faster than the freaking Ford GT and a full second faster 0-60 than an 18 A10 Mustang that supposed to be able to do it in 4 flat.

You have any idea how big of a deal mid engine layout is vs front engine?

The C8 will be able to run the same numbers as front engine cars with less HP because the weight and balance of the C8 makes a massive difference.

But tell me again how good your car is on 315s......LOL

The exact thing i said is that balance does not matter for accelleration as long as you have traction which is 100% true. you are wrong my guy. Go join some fanboy hopeful future corvette owner forum and sell your mustang and then take on another 60k of debt to get beat in races by tuned 5.0's that cost literally half the amount lmao. I guess your username would make sense then "notagain" lol. 59k gt can run 8's

Porsche 911 Carrera S: 443 hp, 390 lb-ft torque 3,382 lb curb wt. 0-60 3.3s, 1/4 mi. 11.3 s
Camaro ZL1 : 650 hp, 650 lb-ft torque 3,944 lb curb wt. 0-60 3.5s. 1/4 mi. 11.2 s

How does the 911 make up for 207 hp / 260 lb-ft disadvantage? Some of it is the 562 lb mass advantage. A lot of it is the mass of the powertrain is over the rear axle, optimizing traction. It’s always hooked up.

Agreed thats what Im saying thats a decent example the weight of the porsche and the engine layout makes up for the rather large HP gap.

z51 will be probably 75-80k with a solid ~300 hp less than an equal priced gt500, gonna get eaten from a roll. gt500 + 3k mods and a tune probably 450 hp more than the c8.

The LT2 is heavily based on the LT1 and a simple heads cam package will crank it up to around 600 with way less weight and a much better platform. There are companies that build 700hp NA LT1s so Im 100% positive there will be some 600+ HP ALL MOTOR C8s running around very shortly after they hit dealers. Just like any other newly released car there is going to be a massive rush to see who can put one in the 10s 1st, then 9s, ect.

If you want to start talking modded vs modded all bets are off.

No way in the world the C8 will do 0-60/0-100 in under 3 seconds. That is just BS.
Youre gonna need some napkins for your tears..... Just wait until the Z06 and ZR1 versions come out too.....

I compared stock gt500 to z51's, also tune only gts to base c8s. We will see. you should sell your car though.
At 60k for a damn C8 slapping a 10k on a Mustang (blower kit, fuel system, wheels and tires) to keep up looks awfully foolish LOL!!

The fact this thing starts under a GT350 is absurd never mind what a GT500 will cost.
