All that is needed to get 0-60 in 3s is the base car ($60k) + Z51 ($5k-ish).

No official pricing has been released at this point, so the list in your post is clearly bogus. For C7, Z51 is a $5k option, not $12K plus, so again, bogus. And Z51 includes the performance exhaust. Of course a lot of people WILL option the thing up to the sky, starting with 3LT trim instead of 1LT trim and then adding all the candy. But still, at the end of the day if someone WANTED to order a $65k Z51, they could.

So show me where the z51 option is 5k. Cause i know its 9k on C7. buddy just built one and it 77k apparently with the essentials.

The C8 configuration has NO PRICING INFO WHATSOEVER, so whoever gave you that list is just f***ing around. For one, Corvette has never charged for basic white paint. N-E-V-E-R.
For another, they double dipped the price of performance exhaust, since it is included in the $5,000 for Z51. For another, they slipped in what they think 3LT pricing is. I’m not gonna take the time to see if it’s correct or not. 3LT is not required for 3s. Nor is any of the carbon, nor the PDR, nor any of the options other than Z51 which CLEARLY is not priced at $12k+

Comparing C7 options packaging to the C8 which no one knows how they will be optioned it absolutely pointless.

As Ive said before this will be a volumes car and honestly I think GM can get away with pricing it very well that even a nicely equipped one will be under 70k.

I am also totally expecting GM to pull what Nissan did with the GTR and the price will go up quickly once the Grand Sport, Z06 and ZR1 trims come. Im 100% fine with that too. I just want a case C8 with a 700hp NA Katech engine package. LOL is that too much to ask for?

It’s part of the $5,000. Apparently you DO want me to continue doing this...
