Green belt or black belt for superchargers?

Well according to their site, there's less size options. But the rep over email says they arent making them anymore. So its regular or HD (green), nothing else.

I’ve been digging. Lots of digging. It hurts. There is some versions of aramid corded and EPDM constructed serpentine belts around. Very tough to locate or find length/part #’s.
Continental and Dayco had some vague description of these “specialty” belts.

This sucks. I just grabbed an extra rpm for $45. Now the remaining inventory is over $125

Please do share if you guys find alternatives/comp belts. Rpm has been solid but does take actually measuring and figuring out where your at on the tensioner range

Kinda hard to justify to keep producing the RPM Belt when hoards of goobers keep running the green belts and recommending them to other goobers.

Just picked up an RPM belt from Napa of all places. They had a good amount in stock. Spoke to Whipple today and they said set the tensioner in the same spot as with a normal belt. Not sure who to believe. Bought the car and it came with a stock basic belt on it and it's looking ugly after 5-6k miles.

Just spoke with a Dayco rep. He said they probably won’t their new line of “Supercharger” belts in most of our sizes for our applications because there’s no demand.

He said they need to sell 500 belts just to pay for the mold. So if the demand can get high enough, it could happen. Told him that we could use 80.6, 81.5, and 81.7” belts in 6 rib.

Well it should be 82.5" up for stock six ribs.
Edelbrock send 82" and they don't fit.

Well most people run either the 3.25 " pulley and don't go down unless run better fuel. Most times they do less boost.

Gates RPM belt. make sure its the RPM. Mines been fine for 20k miles looks brand new.
