Great Deal on Oil

Just wanted to share - just picked up 2 5gal containers of Quaker State Ultimate Durability (5w20) at Walmart for just under $18/container. I was pretty happy with that and the reviews are pretty stout for the oil from what I’ve read. I believe it’s sinilar to Pennzoil Platinum. They stock Motorcraft filters as well so my total was around $43 all in.

I’m in South Florida, not sure if it’s a regional thing only but may be worth a check if you’re due for an oil change.

If you're not shopping for boutique branded oil (Amsoil, Redline, Motul etc.) then Walmart is definitely the best place to buy oil from. Also check out the manufacturer's website as often times they also have mail in rebates (especially Pennzoil)

Walmart’s price on Castrol Edge Extended Performance is unbelievably competitive and in all honesty should be classified as boutique.
Stuffs now rated at 20,000 mile OCI.

Yup.. oil is one of the few items I go to that hell hole for.

It's not the best oil, but it's far from the worst as well. I won't get into what is best or which viscosity, but for an off-the-shelf oil, it's one of the best.
