Reading the most recent issue of Grassroots Motorsports' coverage of the 2022 Ultimate Track Car Challenge ("UTCC"), one sentence stands out..... "The Chevrolet Bowtie dominated the paddock, with five Camaros and four Corvettes." Sure, both are capable of seriously fast lap times in the right hands. But, other than Mr. Faessler's legendary Mustang, which took top honors by a whopping margin again, it appears there wasn't a GT, Mach 1, GT350, or GT500 in the bunch.
Well, I aim to break that drought, because the Mule is heading to NCM when the UTCC moves there for the 2023 event next October. My friend who tracks a former Bondurant car (now sporting a wicked coyote swap and a bunch more upgrades) will be there too, flying the Ford flag.
Anyone else here ever compete in or consider attending the UTCC?
