Thanks, I am thrilled with the results. The last thing I want to do to the exterior is black out the pony on the trunk finish panel.

Just finished up adding over the top stripes to my Grabber Blue Mustang.
Well done, looks great. I like your wide pin stripes, I wish I had gone thicker. You did well to keep the main stripes parallel going over the back. I guess your spoiler helps. It was not my intention to have pinstripes on the inside of the stripes, but we used it to overlap crooked stripes.

I think stripes add a bit of contrast to the sea of Grabber Blue.

dgc333 Curious, I'm about to do something similar. How wide did you go with the pinstripes? 7/8ths inch? Not sure how wide I want to go with mine

The main stripes are 10", the accent stripe is 1/2".

I laid a 1.5" piece of masking tape down the center of the car and laid the main stripe up against it. After the main stripe had set I laid the white accent stripe against the main stripe.

The middle spacing is just right. I may try 3/8ths pinatriping to get just a hair smaller. Looks good though man! Thanks for the info!

How did it look without the white pinstripes?
It didn't pop without the white accent. I had thought about going with a white stripe with black or red accent but after checking out a GT350 with white stripe black accent it just didn't quite mesh with all the black trim and black wheels.

I general all the over the top stripes I have seen without an accent color or a pin stripe spaced away from the main stripe looked like something was missing.

Just a couple of quick pics I snapped of the new car.

New with the old:

Got the wheels moved over:

I like the red, white and blue contrast!

Any time there is a US flag with a Mustang, its a win. Well done.

Hey there, Grabber Blue Gurus. I'm your distant cousin with GB stripes on my TY car.

Search came up empty, so .. who knows a good source for GB spray paint? Something that closely matches the color. Doesn't have to be perfect. I might spray some chassis parts that go under the car.

TIA.
