must have been a big rock. I had a piece of metal hit and dent the crap out of the hood and chipped the windshield on the accord I had. I was so pissed, the car was a 2013 and this happened in 2018 so it wasn’t that new but it hurt. I feel your pain brother.

The first one is always the worst. I was pissed for a few months when I got a rock chip when the car had 74 miles on it. It was the worst chip ive gotten to date and I have 42k miles now lol. Now I have a bunch of small chips but the first one is still the worst one I got. I dont care anymore I suppose , youll get over it eventually.

One of my good buddy's from high school has a nice terminator cobra and he was on a ladder in his garage and dropped a wrench on the hood and it bout made me sick looking at it and it ain't even my car

Thanks for that! It made me remember the time I dropped an old stereo receiver (from the 80s when they were much beefier) onto the hood of my 93 Probe GT, while trying to get it down from a shelf about 8' high in the back of my garage. A big chip would have been the best outcome! It was hard to look at and painful to have repaired... But later, like 20 years later, I laughed about it! Totally self-inflicted.
