Got a new mt82

I had a jacked up RST clutch the first go around and I think it messed up my transmission. Clutch was getting stuck in gears and the shutter and chatter was horrible..it might've but stress on my transmission. Then I got a brand new RST clutch and the first time I hit 3rd after the break in period... it broke 3rd gear. So now I'm scared to speed shift the car. No warning, no grinding or popping out of gear. I slammed 3rd gear and poww!!!!!

Something about "slamming" a stock trans maybe.


I went through 3 T56s in my Camaro before I learned it really isn't that important.

It is an OEM trans in a 30K car. The T-56 was no different.


You want a better trans? Step up to more expensive car with the TR-6060 or TR-3160. ;)

I figured it was alot people no lifting shifting breaking mt82. 8 didn't think shifting as fast as possible would break it with a RST clutch

I just wasn't expecting to break 3rd on the first hit. It damn sure grabs lol
