I am in the market to buy a new 2019 Mustang GT here in the Dallas area, but I am just not sure a good price to pay for it. More than likely I will need to order it but if I can find one on a lot somewhere that matches exactly what I want I would take it. When I ordered my Jeep I got it 3% under invoice. The MSRP with destination is 48,330. What would be a good price to target with the dealer without any ford kickbacks/rebates because if I order I will not know exactly when it comes in so I am not sure what I will get so I am just targeting the max number I would have to pay the dealer. Thanks for your help

This before any extra Ford money. Do not buy the extended warranty through the dealer. Go to Flood Ford's website and look at prices there. If your dealer won't match it at the time of the sale don't get it. If they do match it make sure it is a Ford warranty and not a third party.

I offered 10% before Ford money and they came back with 8%. I'm sure I could have got a few more dollars off but I thought it was a fair deal compared to the "We only do MSRP" the dealer before them gave me.

Give the folks at Brinson Ford a chance.. they have shitty reviews online for whatever reason but I drove up from the Houston area because they gave me a smoking deal on a GT PP1. The closest match here in town wanted $4k more. Made the 4 hour drive a no-brainer for me.

If you want a special order, try 5 star ford in Plano, ask for Joey. There were out of state dealers with cheaper prices but he got me a special order magneride for about 10%, 10 weeks from order to delivery date

Every single other local dealer I called tried to dick me around on pricing for special orders or keep me waiting for months. I would have liked to save more but wasn't going to wait until March or later for my car

Bumping this thread to see what a good price would be on this car. The price listed is clickbait garbage (2009 or newer trade required). They quoted me $38,689 +TTF. That seems a high to me but with all smoke and mirrors these stealerships pull with rebates I really don’t know what a realistic deal would be.
