Just curious how many of you have seen the movie gone in 60 seconds, I was not really a fan of new movie Gone in 60 seconds with Nicholas Cage..... My favorite gone in 60 seconds movie was the one made in 1974.... I grew up in Southern California the 1974 movie was filmed all through southern California.... It's a B movie, starts off a little slow..... But the chase scenes in this movie are great they demolish 93 cars in this movie.......

Again, I was just curious how many have the 1974 version thanks.......

For you that have seen the 1974 movie you may like it........ Poor Eleanor takes a beating..........:cheers:

Seen it. It's my least favorite of the old 70s gear head movies with Dirty Mary/Crazy Larry being my favorite followed by vanishing point. Still a cool flick for car guys none the less. And I always liked that body style for the Mustang. I owned two of that style.

there will only ever be one Gone in Sixty Seconds... and it doesn't star Nic Cage!

I cant resist Eleanor from the latest Gone In 60 Seconds. Foose worked some serious magic on that car.

I've never seen it. Been meaning to for years, though. I was ~7 when it came out, so I only heard of it when the newer movie came out. It was amazing how much the '67/'68 fastbacks gained in popularity from the Nick Cage movie.

My old man loves the '65 fastback but I love the 68's (I'm a big block kind of guy). Close second for me would be the '69 Boss.

...Guess I'm in the minority for loving the one with Cage. I was 11 when it came out, so I guess that's my excuse. Eleanor was a dream in that movie.

I like them all and really just watch them for what they are. But I have to admit even though I grew up in the 70's a lot of those movies are almost painful to watch anymore.:D

I liked them both, own both on dvd and the original on vhs if that tells you anything. My favorite is Bullitt, then The Gumball Rally, Dirty Mary Crazy Larry and the 1974 Gone in Sixty Seconds.

Remake gets my vote. Like obgod, I was 2 when the original was made and it is painful to watch on todays HDTV's.
