I was on squirrel safari so don't I get some sort of dispensation, Tom? <smile>

And roger on your answers but a U-21/C-12 have T-tails while the H-90 does not. <wink>

But yep on the other two. The professor told me he'd give you credit for those. ;-)

Huh, interesting. I’ve never seen a U-21 with a T-tail. A couple of jobs ago I flew them. The company had close to 100% surplus Vietnam era U-21’s they bought from the military and they were all conventional tails.

Ahhh...my mistake. I thought an Army/AF U-21 was the same as a Navy C-12, the bigger Kingair.

Those in the photo are either QueenAires or unpressurized Kingairs. That looks virtually identical to the T-44's I flew in the Trainink Kommand except, ours have round windows cuz they're pressurized.

Mighty damn forgiving and reliable aircraft. Not quite as forgiving as a P-3 (or A-300) power-wise but very reliable. That's ol' "822" and I'm sure it's in my logbooks many times. <grin>

I've never flown in a C-12 or U-21 and the Navy stopped using them as (I can't remember the dang designator,) training aircraft a few years back.

The longer these cars sit on a dealer's floorplan with few sales and little revenue, the more likely it will be able to get one for MSRP/low ADM for CFTP

Just because the world is upside down, doesn't mean there aren't people with money.

Furthermore, the 2020 model year will probably not produce the 5000 units that were supposed to be produced. There will be fewer 500s to be had and the CFTPs will be much more rare.

Edited to add:

This was in another thread from our resident expert:
That would explain the 13 Cancelled VINs that I have seen in non factory ordered cars.

Yes they were unpressurized version of the Kingair 90, 65-A90-1 (U-21A). Built for the army during Vietnam to ferry cargo into into the remote airfields in the jungle if memory serves. Old rust buckets to be sure, but fun to fly.

Dave: Once the EPA cracked down on aircraft painting and anti-corrosion efforts, the Navy started sending the T-44's to a contract facility in Alabama. I took an airplane there one time and there must have been three dozen of those Army U-21s there. Even then they looked old and that was a good twenty-some years ago.

It depends on how desperate a dealership is to make a sale at this point. Sales for most dealerships are and will drop significantly in the next few months

A retired and medically down one, Dave but yep, I confess. :-)

Edit: Since we're all twiddling our thumbs and, we can't play poker so how about a RECCE class? I'm sure the Air Force folks will love this. :-)

Hey KB,
As a retired Air Force guy, your class sounds interesting.

Local dealer I had been talking to has a golden ticket on the showroom for sale. Buyer backed out for whatever reason. They are asking 30k ADM but willing to deal. All options except painted stripes, this on has the vinyl instead.

with everything going on right in the world I’m not sure I want to pay much ADM if any. What are people still thinking is reasonable for a golden ticket or what would people be willing to pay over MSRP
Are you talking about Ford of Franklin? I immediately thought about them when I saw this post because I saw their email that they had one. Seeing that you're in Spring Hill it all makes sense.
