After a year of ownership, I've officially sold my s550 gt.

It was a fun car and it was an awesome car I planned to keep for years to come but issue after issue just arose to where I didn't see it viable to pay out of pocket for repairs.

It was a 2019 and it had 2800 miles when I bought it.

Previous owner sold it in 24 when I bought it but warranty was expired so every repair coming was out of pocket.

My next mustang I buy will definitely be a foxbody to new-edge.

Appreciate this forum and the help it gave me in times of agony. For all of you, the stables aren't closed yet, we ride until sunsets on our life.

Sad to see you finally got rid of it OP. I remember reading about the mess you experienced.
Glad to know you might come back to another gen mustang though.

I never purchase modified/tuned vehicles for this reason as I always assume the previous owner was a dumbass and didn't know what they were doing... we see this all the time on this forum from folks that purchased their, unknown-to-them, tunerboy street racer deluxe mess.

Its going to be hard but maybe you can find a stock fox or new edge mustang and have a better experience next time. I recommend buying from Bring a Trailer online auctions for that type of clean and well sorted next mustang, but please have the same healthy dose of skepticism as buying any used performance vehicle.

Cheers to better times ahead and a headache left in the past. 🍻

The Foxbody has that old school, raw and light look, and what's more, it's a perfect playground for personal projects.

Most definitely. My dad had one before I was born and both of my parents said they wish he kept it. Sold it because he needed a truck for the winters

New Edge is the best. Go for a Terminator or Mach 1.
