Morning 6gers.
I have a GMC 3500 van that is a 12 passenger. Wheel size is 245/75/16. I need new tires.
I don't have much experience with light truck/offroad tires like this. Vehicle is driven in the city 80% of the time and out of the city at others, where inclement weather may play a part (in Kingston, Ontario). I was planning on getting winter wheels and tires (though this often looks more like a mud and snow tire) in this load rating.
Michelin has a new tire that is highway and snowflake rated and it is getting decent reviews for it's snow performance, though at a hit of fuel economy. This could save us (driving maybe 3000 miles a year) the upfront cost in winter/wheels and tires plus annual swap fee for a tire that could accomplish 90% of what a dedicated winter tire would.
Here is the tire. Can I get some feedback? Thanks all...
