On a side note, I saw a guy in his GT500 at a Dunkin Donuts drive through the other day. It was 25° at the time, with the morning starting out at 10°. I went up to him and said "what are you doing driving around in this cold with that car and those tires(PS4's)? You must be sliding all over". He said the car is his only car, and has no choice. He has to drive "extremely" cautious as the tires have almost no grip in that cold. Foolish youth!
Funny, but I'm sure he will look back on those years fondly. Even if he crashes, lol. Having a cool car as your only car and not giving a damn is pretty liberating

With that said, I'm in camp preservation so I don't use mine in winter unless it's an unusually warm day.

Here in Houston it means we get nice cool, dry intake air. Windows down sunny weather. :like:

Yeah I was down in Houston for a couple of years. I'd say between here and MD there are the same number of nice days. Just opposite times of year...

On a side note, I had my GT down there at the time.

So I had pictures of the exterior temp gauge showing -45 C (from back home in the Great White North) and +45 C in Houston. Kinda cool.

It was mid 50s(I have a firm 50* rule for taking the Shelby out) here yesterday but there's so much road treatment down still the car is better off staying on the lift.....so I changed the oil instead.

For those that can, post pics of the cars out for the rest of us.

Bagged and tagged...... keeps any critters out, in the event they make it into the hangar.

I took my car out twice today. It was cold (mid 30s) but dry. I'm running Michelin Pilot Alpine PA4s, and they do not disappoint! That is one grippy winter tire 😁

I will grant you your nice winters. But come August isn’t it 113 degrees with the heat index?

Those of us that live here are used to it. But I tell friends and family to not visit June-Aug unless they are ready for it. But that’s why we all have a pool.
It is nice to drive and have track events all year round.
