Is that a linear rate spring or not?
I think it is linear because most of us in the Frozen Tundra areas of the country have to be pretty even keeled...

The long wait is over. Took the car out today after sitting untouched for 3 months in my back yard. Didn't want to overdue it as outside temps were still only 50°. Kept the rpms under 5K, and the speed under 120.

we had rain on saturday with temps in the 50's, washed all the salt away. Sunday was in the high 40's; saw several clean mustangs out and about.. Monday was 20 degrees and snow... lol... only in Wisconsin.

Keep the faith brother, I managed to have a little taste on Sunday with the help of my 5 year old grandson. 60 degrees out and he talked me into it. It's been crappy here since...
Post # 9829, what did you do to your GT 350 today. Spring is still lurking around the corner

Reading this thread makes me soooo glad to live in Australia. No snow in 95% of the country, no salt, no need to garage my ride for 3 months. If you can avoid getting washed way in floodwaters the Stang can go out 365 days a year.

The fun didn't last long. Next day was 60 and great. Then yesterday we got rain, and winds up to 45mph. Tomorrow a mix of rain and snow. Car will remain covered for a while. At least it's out from it's backyard storage.

Similar here in Michigan. High of 60 on saturday then back to getting a couple inches of snow on Monday

Yeah we hit 71 here in Cleveland over the weekend, now we are back in the thirties. After living here for 55 years, I know better than to jump the gun and bring the car out too early. It's not worth pulling the car out of hibernation for 1 day then have to put it back in. I would rather wait until I can pull it out for good, and that is usually around mid-late April around here.

Under the current conditions in Australia, I would rather live in the Northeast. That’s all I’ll say.

Resurrecting this thread because it's that time of year again. After going for one last drive, pulled the car into the backyard for it's long winter nap. I don't have a garage, so it stays outside all winter. I do the best I can in getting it prepped. I put on some ceramic boost yesterday, and have been putting in Stabil for the last 2 weeks. The car sits on a set of Flatstopper ramps, and the tire pressure is increased to 45psi for storage. And of course, it's hooked up to a battery tender.
This will be the 3rd winter I've had the car, and the depressing feeling is the same. It's especially painful to see it covered in a foot of snow after a bad storm. Spring can't come soon enough.

Bring it to me in Fla, I'll garage it, baby it and drive it every few weeks.
