I would go with the SVE wheel. The Voxx wheel isn't even flowformed which is a minimum for me when I buy a wheel. Also the Voxx wheel with an ET40 isn't as aggressive fitment as the 35mm offset of the LMR SVE wheels. One thing though, the SVE wheel is available in a 20" only. If you go with the SVE R350 wheel than its 7lbs per wheel lighter and those are available in a 19".
I have the SVE and love them.
Thanks for the feedback, I’ll look into the SVE wheels.

I did messurements of my OEM PP1 tires with OEM PZero fronts and of my Apex SM-10 with 305/30 AR-1's the difference between the sets was 5.5 lbs per wheel or a total difference of 22 lbs and you gain 50 mm of front tire wight and 30 mm of rear tire wight.

Same here, found them for $400 brand new take offs local pick up. I even had to sleep on it before I agreed to the deal lol. In hindsight I was extremely lucky.

I just replaced my 20 Velgen Wheels(34lbsx4) with 19 Project6GR Seven(24lbx4) and is night and day difference how the car feels.
I agree. I like the 17 x 7.5 wheels on my GR86. They aren't super light, but 22 lbs for a factory wheel isn't bad. At ~2,800 lbs, the car feels pretty light as well and it has plenty of tire even with relatively narrow rims.

Unfortunately it seems like the Mustang being so heavy needs wide tires to turn well. But I think it does a good job for its large size and weight. I'd like to buy some lighter wheels for it as well, but so far $$ are holding me back. Currently I use either PP1 or Mach 1 HP wheels, which are both over 30 lbs.

OEM Base 18" GT Wheel w/ Tire: 54.5lbs
OEM PP Model 19" GT Wheel w/ Tire: F-60.6lbs / R-64.3lbs
OEM Dark Stainless Painted Aluminum 19" x 8.5" Wheel w/ Tire: 57.6 lbs
OEM Foundry Wheel w/ Stock Tire: 55.2lbs
OEM Foundry 20" Wheel w/ Tire: 64lbs
OEM Premium20x9 Foundry Wheel: 35.7 lbs
OEM GT PP Front 9" Wheel: 32.5lbs
OEM GT PP Rear 9.5" Wheel: 32.4lbs

Fricken PP wheels & tires are just st00pid heavy ha-ha.
I forgot if anyone has mentioned them:
OEM Mach 1 HP, Front 19x10.5" , Rear 19x11", an owner weighed them and says they're both 31.7 lbs

So, wider than PP1 and a hair lighter, and Steeda is selling complete sets for $1500.

I may sell mine at some point. Id like to have lighter wheels. Cutting 7 lbs off of each front rotor, 4 lbs off each rear rotor, and 7-8 lbs per wheel is very tempting. Not sure what to get in factory sizes. I like the factory look, but dont like the SVE are only 10” in front. Most 305 tires want a 10.5 inch wheel minimum. And i dont really want to go down to a 285 or 295 with the M1 HP front flares. Ideally Id like to run 305 front, 325 rear. Im sure any number of forged companies would make me most anything I want. If i had to go that route Id maybe call Forgeline.

Ugh thanks for rekindling my want to get rid of the PP1 boat anchors.
PP2 wheels even more so - switching to these made a world of difference:

Does anyone know if there is a flow formed replica of the PP1 wheels? My dilemma is that the gloss black PP1 wheels are still my overall favorite wheel design, I absolutely love the way they look, but I haven't found anyone that makes a lighter version like SVE does with many of the OEM designs :/

This is a great thread. Its just interesting coming from the other side, my signatures feel like boat anchors compared to the carbons...... Buddy was helping me swap tires and wheels the other day from my Carbons to my signatures to go on a road trip and hes like, dang these things are really heavy in comparison....... everything sure is relative.

Not to be rude, but why would anyone buy this?

For almost the same price you could get Apex wheels or for a lot less money you could get SVE wheels, both of which are much lighter weight.

Total game changer.

Early on with my '15, I swapped on wider, lighter wheels, BMR SP080 springs and cradle lockout all at once. The car was utterly transformed.
