Thanks GMAN, waiting for my usb to obd cable coming today. I'll install the GT splash screen tonight. First time using Forscan but it seems rather straightforward.

Mine worked fine this morning. Had to trickle charge the battery over night due to low voltage last night. I now have the 'GT' splash screen at startup and shutdown.
