Went to check the oil level the other day, when I wiped the oil off the dipstick, it pulled right out of the screw cap. As apparently loose as it was, probably would have eventually fell into the rotating assembly. Called Procharger and I had a new one in a couple days :). Comparing the new one against the old, it would have been apparent to a blind man that the crimp was too shallow and too high.

I'll look at mine when I do the 500 mile oil change here shortly. Thanks.
It's rare,

What can happen is when the drain line gets screwed in the bottom.
It can pinch the dipstick inside.
So then when you turn the cap up top, it removes the line :(

But the good news, is that it can't get into any gears or anything.
Since it rests in its own chamber.

I have seen about 2 like that in the last year or so.
Glad to hear the tech guys have you handled. :)
