Got a tvs car with 56lb injectors and Vmp bap. About once a week it blows the #49 fuel pump fuse. I upped it to a 40a and it happened less often, but still happens. What could it be? Just running 93 octane nothing crazy.

Also when I put a new fuse in it takes forever to start back up, what do I need to do differently

Could be bad ground, or loose connection causing the pump to draw more than it should be. It's slow to start after replacing the fuse because when the fuse blows and the pump stops you run the lines and injector rail dry and they need to be reprimed. This could be quite bad if the pump stops on a boosted pull and causes mega lean spike.

Definitely sounds like some kind of wiring issue. I have a VMP bap and never blow fuses. Had it for about 6k miles.

Careful you might burn up that wire as well. Pulling higher amperage though the wire that it's not designed for is a big no no.

Was a loose grounding connection. Put 250 miles on it so far and all is good after locating a better ground
