For sale:
Used ProCharger Supercharger HO Intercooled System with Factory Airbox and P-1SC-1
Part# 1FW411-SCI

Asking: $4,500 USD, cash or Zelle

Located: Santa Fe Springs, CA (southeast LA County)

Notes:
Used for approximately 5,000 miles. Kit was professionally installed and uninstalled at DB Performance Engineering in Whittier, CA. Nothing is wrong with the kit, too much power for this guy :).

I contacted ProCharger and they indicated the original tune is tied to a specific vehicle and is not transferrable, so you will need to find a third-party tuner.

Local pickup only, and I highly recommend a truck for transportation. We were able to fit the box in the back seat of my Mustang with the seats down, but it was a tight fit, and difficult to get in and out.

I know you’d prefer to sell locally but if you’re willing to ship it I may be a buyer. What is the hp rated for this kit?

Cool, keep me posted. I’m in no rush.
So it was really too much for you? 99% of feedback I hear is wish they would have went FI sooner. Just curious as why you want to go back. Also, how was the sound? I’m looking for that supercharger whine.

The car was certainly faster, but I think it was more fun on the street naturally aspirated. As for the sound, its a centrifugal supercharger, so it does not have that "whine" sound like some of the positive displacement superchargers. It sort of sounds like a jet engine turbine.
